What Makes This 250 × 1260 cm Mosquito Net Different?

What Makes the Upgraded 250 × 1260 cm Mosquito Net Different?

Why Do Conventional Water Tubes Become Damaged Around the Caps?

Conventional fill caps can sometimes be difficult to open.

When a cap is tight, the user may instinctively grip, squeeze or sharply bend the flexible PVC tube around the fill opening while trying to turn the cap.

Repeated stress at the same point can weaken the PVC. Over time, the tube may become damaged at the bend near the cap attachment area.

The upgraded model addresses this specific problem.

How Are the New Fill Caps Different?

The new system has:

  • Redesigned threaded caps
  • Improved cap positioning
  • Easier access to the rigid fill-opening area
  • A sealing ring inside each cap
  • Internal sealing around the fill opening
  • Attached caps that remain connected to the tube

The cap can be opened while holding the reinforced fill-opening area instead of squeezing and sharply folding the flexible tube itself.

Redesigned mosquito-net water-tube cap

Wide threaded fill opening with the sealing ring clearly visible inside the attached cap.

Do the Redesigned Caps Create a Watertight Seal?

Yes. When correctly positioned and securely tightened, the sealing ring inside the cap creates a watertight seal around the fill opening.

The new cap position also makes the cap easier to access and operate without sharply bending the surrounding PVC tube.

See the Redesigned Cap in Action

How Do I Open and Close the Fill Cap?

  1. Hold the rigid area around the fill opening.
  2. Turn the cap without squeezing or twisting the flexible water tube.
  3. Fill the lower tube with water.
  4. Tighten the cap securely.
  5. Check the cap area before arranging the tube around the structure.

Do not use the flexible PVC tube itself as a grip when loosening the cap.

Why Is the Net 250 cm High?

Many standard patio umbrella mosquito nets are approximately 230–240 cm high.

This upgraded model is 250 cm high, providing an additional 20 cm compared with a regular standard net 230 cm high.

The additional height is useful when:

  • The umbrella stands on a raised or high base;
  • A cantilever umbrella is tilted;
  • The canopy edge is higher on one side;
  • The attachment point is higher than expected;
  • The ground is slightly uneven;
  • Additional length is needed for the lower tube to reach the ground.

The 250 cm height provides more vertical flexibility. It does not increase the 1260 cm perimeter. Two people showing the full 250 cm height of an extra-tall mosquito net

The 250 cm height provides additional vertical coverage for higher or tilted outdoor structures.

What Structures Can This Mosquito Net Fit?

The mosquito net has a total length of:

1260 cm / 12.6 m / 41.3 ft

This is the complete length around the umbrella or gazebo. It is not the umbrella diameter.

The net can fit:

  • Many standard 3 × 3 m gazebos;
  • Square 3 × 3 m patio umbrellas;
  • Square 3 × 3 m cantilever umbrellas;
  • Selected large round patio umbrellas;
  • Selected rounded double patio umbrellas;
  • Other compatible structures with a suitable hanging perimeter.

This is not a universal net for every umbrella or gazebo.

Measure the real structure before ordering.

How Do I Measure My Umbrella?

Measure around the complete lower outside edge of the open canopy.

Do not measure only:

  • The umbrella width;
  • The diameter;
  • The distance between two opposite corners.

You need the complete perimeter.

How Do I Measure a Gazebo?

Measure around the outer lower edge of the gazebo roof where the upper part of the mosquito net will hang.

For a square 3 × 3 m gazebo:

3 m + 3 m + 3 m + 3 m = 12 m

The net is 12.6 m long, providing approximately 60 cm of total allowance.

Also measure vertically from the intended attachment point to the ground.

The net height is: 250 cm / 8.2 ft

How to measure the perimeter of a patio umbrella for a mosquito net COMPATIBILITY TABLE

Structure Stated size Calculated perimeter Compatibility
Round umbrella 2.5 m diameter / 8.2 ft 7.85 m / 25.8 ft No — the net is too large
Round umbrella 3.0 m diameter / 9.8 ft 9.42 m / 30.9 ft No — the net is too large
Round umbrella 3.1 m diameter / 10.2 ft 9.74 m / 32.0 ft Not recommended
Round umbrella 3.3 m diameter / 10.8 ft 10.37 m / 34.0 ft Not recommended
Round umbrella 3.5 m diameter / 11.5 ft 11.00 m / 36.1 ft Fits
Round umbrella 3.8 m diameter / 12.5 ft 11.94 m / 39.2 ft Fits
Round umbrella 4.0 m diameter / 13.1 ft 12.57 m / 41.2 ft Fits by calculation — measure carefully
Square gazebo 3 × 3 m / 9.8 × 9.8 ft 12.00 m / 39.4 ft Fits
Square patio umbrella 3 × 3 m / 9.8 × 9.8 ft 12.00 m / 39.4 ft Fits
Square cantilever umbrella 3 × 3 m / 9.8 × 9.8 ft 12.00 m / 39.4 ft Fits
Rounded double umbrella 2.74 × 4.27 m / 9 × 14 ft 11.66 m / 38.3 ft Fits
Rounded double umbrella 2.74 × 4.57 m / 9 × 15 ft 12.28 m / 40.3 ft Fits
Rectangular gazebo 3 × 4 m / 9.8 × 13.1 ft 14.00 m / 45.9 ft No — the net is too small

For round umbrellas, the stated size is the diameter, not the perimeter.

The calculations for the 9 × 14 ft and 9 × 15 ft double umbrellas are based on a rounded canopy shape rather than a standard rectangle.

The real canopy edge may differ slightly from the advertised size. Measure the actual perimeter before ordering.

Why Is the Net Not Recommended for Smaller Round Umbrellas?

A round umbrella with a diameter of 2.5 m has a calculated perimeter of only 7.85 m.

A 3 m round umbrella has a calculated perimeter of 9.42 m.

Both structures are significantly smaller than the 12.6 m mosquito net.

The upper drawstring can gather the top edge, but several metres of excess material would remain at the bottom.

This can cause:

  • Deep folds in the integrated water tube;
  • Uneven distribution of water;
  • Uneven hanging;
  • Repeated stress at folded points;
  • Possible damage to the tube.

For the same reason, round umbrellas measuring approximately 3.1–3.3 m in diameter are not recommended.

For the same reason, round umbrellas measuring approximately 3.1–3.3 m in diameter are not recommended.

What Is This Net Not Compatible With?

The net is not compatible with:

  • Round patio umbrellas smaller than approximately 3.5 m in diameter;
  • Standard round umbrellas measuring 2.5–3.3 m in diameter;
  • Rectangular gazebos measuring 3 × 4 m;
  • Structures with a perimeter significantly smaller than 12.6 m;
  • Structures with a perimeter larger than 12.6 m;
  • Umbrellas or gazebos that cannot be securely anchored.

How Do the Two Zipper Openings Work?

The mosquito net has two zipper openings positioned opposite each other.

Both can be operated from inside and outside.

Main entrance

The main zipper:

  • Begins below the upper edge of the net;
  • Provides easy access;
  • Opens down to the bottom;
  • Does not fully separate at the upper edge.

The zipper begins below the top.

Opposite installation zipper

The opposite zipper:

  • Fully separates at the upper edge;
  • Allows installation around a cantilever support or arm;
  • Closes from the upper edge downward;
  • Stops at the lower water-fill tube;
  • Does not cut through or divide the lower tube.

The lower edge remains connected by the continuous water-fill tube.

Does It Fit a 3 × 3 m Cantilever Umbrella?

Yes, provided the real perimeter and hanging height are compatible.

The opposite zipper separates at the upper edge, allowing the mosquito net to be placed around the side support or cantilever arm.

After installation:

  • Keep the mesh away from the umbrella mechanism;
  • Make sure the zipper does not interfere with the arm;
  • Confirm that the lower tube reaches the ground;
  • Arrange the lower tube without sharp folds;
  • Securely anchor the umbrella with its own weighted base.

The mosquito net does not stabilise the umbrella.

How Does the Water-Fill Tube Work?

The lower water tube is integrated into the mosquito net.

After the net has been installed:

  • Arrange the tube evenly on the ground;
  • Remove sharp folds;
  • Open the fill caps;
  • Fill the tube with water;
  • Close the caps securely;
  • Check the closures.

The water adds weight around the lower edge and helps:

  • Keep the mesh closer to the ground;
  • Reduce gaps underneath the net;
  • Limit movement in light wind;
  • Maintain the enclosed shape.

The tube holds down the lower edge of the net. It does not stabilise the umbrella or gazebo itself.

INSTALLATION

How Do I Install the Mosquito Net?

  1. Open and securely anchor the umbrella or gazebo.
  2. Lay the mosquito net on the ground around the structure.
  3. Identify the main entrance and the opposite installation zipper.
  4. For a cantilever umbrella, separate the installation zipper at the upper edge.
  5. Position the net around the side support or cantilever arm.
  6. Lift the upper edge of the mosquito net.
  7. Attach the net at four points using the four included clips — one near the middle of each side.
  8. Position the loose upper sections over the corners.
  9. Tighten the continuous upper drawstring from both sides.
  10. Check that the lower tube reaches the ground around the full perimeter.
  11. Arrange the tube evenly without sharp folds.
  12. Fill the lower tube with water.
  13. Close all fill caps.
  14. Close both zipper openings.

IMPORTANT USE AND CARE INFORMATION

This product is an insect barrier, not an airtight enclosure.

Insects may enter through open zippers, uneven ground, or existing holes, vents and gaps in the umbrella or gazebo canopy. The mosquito net encloses the sides and lower edge only; it cannot block openings in the structure above it. Check and cover such openings before use if necessary.

  • Keep the net away from candles, barbecues, open flames, patio heaters and other hot objects.
  • Remove the net during strong wind, storms and severe weather.
  • The water-filled tube does not stabilise the umbrella or gazebo.
  • Do not create sharp folds in the lower tube.
  • Hold the rigid fill-opening area when turning a cap.
  • Do not squeeze or twist the flexible PVC tube to open a cap.
  • Empty the tube before moving or storing the net.
  • Allow the mesh and water tube to dry completely before folding.
  • Store the mosquito net in a clean, dry place.

How Do I Empty the Water Tube?

Open the fill cap and allow the water to drain completely.

The wide opening makes it easier to empty the tube before drying and storage.

HousesNice

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Will This Net Fit a 3 × 3 m Gazebo?

Yes. A square 3 × 3 m gazebo has a calculated perimeter of 12 m. The mosquito net is 12.6 m long.

Measure the actual roof perimeter and attachment height before ordering.

Will It Fit a Square 3 × 3 m Patio Umbrella?

Yes. A square 3 × 3 m canopy has a calculated perimeter of 12 m.

Will It Fit a 3 × 3 m Cantilever Umbrella?

Yes, provided the actual perimeter and hanging height are compatible.

The opposite zipper separates at the upper edge, allowing the net to be positioned around the side support or cantilever arm.

Will It Fit a 9 × 15 ft Double Patio Umbrella?

It fits when the umbrella has a rounded double-canopy shape.

The estimated perimeter is approximately 12.28 m. Measure the real lower canopy edge before ordering.

Will It Fit a 3.5 m Round Umbrella?

Yes. A perfect circle with a diameter of 3.5 m has a perimeter of approximately 11 m.

Will It Fit a 3.8 m Round Umbrella?

Yes. A perfect circle with a diameter of 3.8 m has a perimeter of approximately 11.94 m.

Will It Fit a 4 m Round Umbrella?

A perfect circle with a diameter of 4 m has a perimeter of approximately 12.57 m.

This is very close to the total net length of 12.6 m, so measure the actual canopy carefully before ordering.

Will It Fit a 2.5 or 3 m Round Umbrella?

No.

These umbrellas are significantly smaller than the 12.6 m net. Too much excess material would create deep folds in the integrated lower water tube.

Does the Net Have Two Zipper Openings?

Yes.

The two zipper openings are positioned opposite each other.

Do Both Zippers Completely Separate?

No.

The opposite installation zipper separates at the upper edge but stops at the lower water-fill tube.

The main entrance does not separate at the upper edge.

Can the Zippers Be Opened From Inside?

Yes.

The zipper openings can be operated from both inside and outside.

Do the Redesigned Caps Create a Watertight Seal?

Yes. When correctly positioned and securely tightened, the sealing ring inside the cap creates a secure watertight seal around the fill opening.

The redesigned position also allows the cap to be opened without sharply bending or squeezing the surrounding PVC tube.

Can I Fold the Water Tube to Fit a Smaller Umbrella?

No.

Deep or sharp folds can make the net hang unevenly and may damage the lower tube.

Does the Water Tube Stabilise the Umbrella?

No.

The filled tube holds the lower edge of the mosquito net closer to the ground.

The umbrella or gazebo must have its own secure anchoring or correctly weighted base.

What Is Included?

One mosquito net and four installation clips.

The upper drawstring, lower water tube, fill caps and zipper openings are integrated into the mosquito net.

One black mosquito net and four installation clips.

Is the Umbrella or Gazebo Included?

No.

Only the mosquito net and four clips are supplied.

Where Is the Product Shipped From?

The mosquito net is shipped from our European fulfilment warehouse in Poland.

How Long Does Delivery to Spain Take?

After dispatch, estimated tracked delivery takes approximately 4–6 business days.
